Holiday weekend

My manager scheduled a meeting today for 4 pm. It was important that we meet, so meet we did. (It was to rejuggle our project list and who works on what.) The three of us (the other lead, our manager and I) met for almost 2 hours.

Afterwards, I went to Gina's for dinner (london broil, artichokes, sweet potatoes, fresh fruit and angel food cake) with the "girls" (Gina, Claudia and Lisa (Gina's sis-in-law)). It was good food and good company. We all helped with dinner prep and clean up. Jack was fussy for part of the evening but that's because he was tired.

Claudia and I put together his new highchair too. He looks so tiny in it!

Tomorrow Jim is coming over to help us do more house-fixin'-stuff. It sure is wonderful having handy friends. smile

I don't have any big plans this weekend. I need to work on some web sites, but that's about it. No nail appointment (Bridget and family went away for the long weekend). I might try to see a movie tomorrow. There are a few that sounded like fun (I'm not ready to see Spider-man 2 yet because I hate going to crowded theaters).

Peri says good night and Katya is calling to see why I'm not in the bedroom yet.
