*drip drip*

So I went to get ready for bed to discover a drip from the vent in my master bathroom ceiling. After looking around a bit, I figured that it was worse than I first thought (so after knocking on the neighbors' door at 11 pm and asking if their tub was overflowing and then calling Brad to bitch), I called the emergency maintenance line.

The guy showed up a little after midnight and told me that they'd been in the apartment upstairs today and didn't turn off the supply line to the refrigerator. Which explains why there were wet spots on the ceiling, wall and baseboard.

We heard the upstairs neighbors walking around so he knocked on the door (guess they'll love me now) and went up to turn off the supply line.

He's pretty sure everything should be dried out by Monday. If so, he'll come back, treat the walls and ceiling and repaint (the baseboard too).

I'm off to try to sleep with the annoying dripping sound now. Oh happy day.

Update: The dripping stopped sometime in the night. This morning I noticed that it looks like it leaked down behind my fridge too.
