Winter wonderland

Ok, so I'm snowbound in Boston. My flight out tonight was cancelled and the first available flight they could get me on is... Wednesday at 1:10 pm (ET).

Winter storm warning in effect until 8 am est Monday. Overnight. Snow. Heavy at times. Visibility one quarter mile or less at times. Additional snow accumulation of 4 to 6 inches. Blustery with lows around 20. North winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
Monday. Snow in the morning. Then partly cloudy with a chance of snow showers in the afternoon. Storm total snow accumulation 6 to 12 inches. Brisk with highs around 20. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph. Decreasing to 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph in the afternoon.

You'd get there at the same time if you just got in a car and started driving now...

I'm thinking you should take Amtrak down here to NY and stay here til Wednesday, then fly out of one of our slightly-less snowy metropolitan airports...

As to the "train to NYC" idea, you could always come here. PHL has lots of flights.
