BBQ and a movie

| daily misc | | Comments (5)

Claudia and I went to a friend's for his Memorial Day BBQ. We really didn't stay too long because neither of us knew a lot of people. Instead we saw Crash.

It was an incredible movie but if you're affected by other people's emotions, don't see it. Otherwise, it'll definitely make you think. And see the interconnectedness of life. Good stuff.

I'm not sure who was crying more by the end of the movie though - Claudia or me.

I really wanted to see Crash but that was what I was afraid of. Thank you! I absolutely love Black Hawk Down, but because it is so emotional, I can't watch it. Maybe I will wait for Crash to come out on DVD. That way I can at least pause it to collect myself.

Good to know. It looks like something I'd like. I don't think anyone will want to see it with me though. Too bad we don't live closer...we could go for Thai after!

You were definitely crying more than me on this one. I didn't cry much. I found it much more profound than upsetting. It definitely shows how nothing good comes from anger.

I freely confess I was crying a lot. I'm definitely glad we saw it.
