Computer update

Well, things are better. Not perfect but definitely better. Weird things: my mouse still only works with the PS/2 connector, ~~Firefox won't load a page in the background in a new tab (it opens the new tab and makes that the active one) (yes, it's set properly)~~ [Thank you, jim!], Quicken seems to have forgotten I want it to check for transactions even though that's properly set up too.

I'll get a few more apps installed and back up everything. Damn computers!

And you're sure you don't have "select new tabs opened from links" checked in your advanced preferences? hmmm.... P'haps yer registry is a wee bit hosed.
