Timing

It's always about timing.

I went to put a new keyboard on my PC tonight and accidentally rebooted it during start up (when I was sliding the box back into place). Now my USB mouse only works with a PS/2 adaptor, I don't "see" my printer nor my external hard drive. So I'm backing up everything (to my D drive) so I can wipe (hopefully only the C drive!) and reinstall this weekend. Not really what I had on my list for the weekend since it's Gina's BBQ on Saturday and I'm also going to Ren Fest beforehand.

Frustrating.

Update: I wiped my C drive this morning and reinstalled XP Pro. (All of my data is on D.) When it rebooted (before I had to run off to the dentist), it got an error on F (which is where the install CD was) so I just left it. I'll take the CD out and reboot tonight and hope for the best.
