Flooding update

The waters have receded from the basement. Jonah's parents brought over a second pump and the two of 'em ran all night and got the water out. Whew. Next up, damage assessment and dehumidifying.

The backyard water levels have even gone down substantially.

And the sun was out this morning! (It's fairly cloudy now, but I saw blue skies earlier.)

I convinced the guys to go to dinner at my brother's for dinner. It was wonderful. Steak tips, broccoli and garlic and really yummy pasta. Sara wanted me to sit next to her (an honor!) so I made sure that she ate her dinner. When she'd finished, she went off to watch Lilo and Stitch and kept calling for me to come watch it with her. What a precious child.
