Sprint and phone numbers

| daily misc | | Comments (1)

Today's annoyance:
Changing my phone number from a CO-local one to a MA-local one means that they have to cancel my existing account and set me up again. Which means that my contract starts over (only about 5 months additional, but annoying). BUT because I got disconnected when I was on the phone the first time, my magical internal phone code is now locked and I have no phone service.

So, if you have my number, don't call for the next day or so. Send email. Or IM me. 'cause my phone won't ring. tongue

Also, if you want my new number and did not get my moving update emails, leave a comment here and I'll send it to you when it works again. (If you got those, you'll get the new number because I'm going to email that group again.)

Update: After about an hour on the phone with Sprint [today - Thurs] (20 mins on the first call before I got disconnected by the ass who kept wanting to give me another CO phone #), I now have a MA number. It'll be active in about 2ish hours. And a $20 credit and 100 free text messages. And I think something else but I'm not sure.
