Flu shot daze
I got my flu shot yesterday. It was a very quick trip to the doctor's office too. I was really impressed.
Last night I was reading before I fell asleep and my nose wouldn't stop running. I finally figured out that it was from the flu shot and got up to take some Nyquil. About 30 minutes later, my nose stopped running and I fell asleep. Now, why didn't I figure that out sooner?
I was up pretty late because I didn't put it all together.
Exciting post, eh? ![]()

Hi, Lisa,
I always get flu shots, too, but I shouldn't. Every time I have done so, I have come down with the flu within in a week or so.
It wasn't so bad when I lived in Chicago. The flu would last for only a couple of days.
Living in Los Angeles, however, makes me dread getting the flu because it usually lasts about a week to 10 days. My doctor explained that's because it is warmer here and germs linger so much longer.
I think next flu season I'll skip the flu shot.
Take care, Lisa! We need you to be healthy!
Your grateful buddy,

I've heard that those flu shots can make you sort of woozy doozy. Glad you got a bit of rest though!
I made the same doctor visit yesterday...so far I'm feeling okay though.
I had a very mild reaction to it this year. Sometimes I feel lousy for a day or two. This time I just got a runny nose (before bed) and a little extra tired.
Here's hoping you stay healthy!
