High maintenance!
My cat. Not me.
She's been quite the chatty girl! First she spent a lot of the morning on my desk. Then when I decided I needed a break, we laid down on the bed for a bit. She decided that she needed attention then too and came over and bugged me until I started petting her. Now she's sitting at the bedroom door crying. Poor little dear. She wants her options, dammit!
It's not so bad when she's laying down, but she keeps sitting up in front of my monitors.

What? I thought all females were like this...including the feline category.
Dogs are just as bad...at times, my sweet Copper (female jack russell mix) just has to lay on me or in my lap or beg for scratching or even vocalize. But, she's great and I love going home to her.
I am glad I have four dogs...they can visit with each other when I'm not home. I just can't seem to pet each of them enough though when I return and they all want attention.
Yeah, it's nice that they have each other for company.
