Weird weather!

What kind of crazy weather is this? It's bright and sunny out and also there are snow flurries. Ok, it's cloudy but still very bright. I've seen blue sky from time to time. But with flurries. This has been a very weird winter (not just from my perspective of "it's not Colorado weather" but also from locals who have spent more than 1 winter here).

I'm a little jealous of my roommate who is off in Australia enjoying high summer. Her cat and I are becoming buddies though so that's a big win.

Katya update: Her new mom (NM) absolutely adores her. NM loves the way Kat wants to be where the people are and follows them around the house. I'm so glad that she ended up in such a wonderful, loving home. Plus it'll give me more incentive to visit NYC.
