The circus!

| family stuff | | Comments (0)

Yesterday, the bunch of us took my niece to the circus! It was her first one and she had a great time. She loved the cotton candy and the other "special" foods and was totally mesmerized by the whole experience. I'm glad I got to go with them. smile

From the site:

Grandma Goes to Hollywood 2006:

The Big Apple Circus' all-new 28th season is Grandma Goes to Hollywood! It's a fun-filled arena of movement, rhythm, color, light and sound -- reflecting the spirit that has long drawn the world's greatest artists to the emotional immediacy of the circus.

Renoir, Degas, Chagall, Toulouse-Lautrec, Calder, and Picasso all gave us their visions of the wonder under the Big Top, in pen and ink, oil and charcoal, pastel and watercolor, and sculpture -- and now the Big Apple Circus brings their art to life with acrobats and jugglers, birds and horses, flying men and women, and clowns.
