Dinner with the family

| family stuff | | Comments (1)

Today was the day that Mom and Bill were heading up to Nova Scotia for their yearly summering trip. We all met up at my brother and sis-in-law's house and then headed to dinner at Carrabba's (yay, air conditioning!). Dinner was tasty and everyone was pleasant. My niece was a riot eating her angel hair pasta. She'd twirltwirltwirl it and then hold the fork with way too much pasta up to her face and eat a little bit of it. And then put the rest back and start again.

I do hope this front makes the temps drop like the weather people are predicting. I wasn't quite ready to have to put my a/c in the window yet (I only have 1 window in my room). But this was better than the high temps that I had earlier today (my room is the warmest room in the apartment - winter and summer)!

I wasn't quite ready for yesterday's heat but I say "bring it on". I love the summer!
