Crossing my fingers
In an attempt to make my room not always be 9,023 degrees warmer than the rest of the apartment, my roommate and I moved my desk (and computers) to the guest room. Everything survived the move and is working again. It'll take a little adjusting to things in the new space, but I have great hopes for this. Plus it means we only need to run one a/c unit durng the day when we're working.
In other news, we had a brown/black out (not sure which, I was sleeping) in the early hours of Saturday and it killed our hot water heater. The landlord hopes to have someone in on Tuesday. In the meantime, we're showering in the first floor apartment (which was recently vacated). It's kind of like being in college again, when you had to take your soap, shampoo, towel and keys with you every time. We're both looking forward to this getting fixed. We haven't run into any of the second floor tenants yet.
Anyway, off to take a brrrcold shower so I can cool down and get some sleep!

I remember carrying everything to the shower then lugging it back. After a couple of hours I'd realize I left something...bummer.
Girl get your self an air conditioner! I would be dead in the water without one when I sleep.
TJ: Yeah, we left the soap down there last night.
It was still there though!
Michelle: We have 3, but with the computers in my room, it was _awful_ all the time.
We'll see how well moving the computers out helps.
Poor little a/c in my room was working overtime!
