Holy ow!
Ok, so that was nearly 2 hours of dental surgery. Endodontic surgery to be precise. Even better? He finished and stitched me up (my first stitches unless I had some as a toddler) and then the X-ray showed that there was a teeeeeny sliver of root still there. So he removed the stitches and s'more bone and got the bugger out. I was done at 9:15.
I have to go ice again and then I'm taking my Darvocet and going to bed. ![]()
Update: I forgot... I had more than 6 shots of Novacaine. I stopped counting, but I hit six pretty early in the whole procedure.

Hope you and your teeth feel better soon.
Thank you, iportion!
My best for a speedy recovery.
All I can say is .... ice cream.
Thanks, TJ!
Michelle: Yeah, that sounds like a good plan. A donut was kinda painful (had to open my mouth too wide) this morning.
I agree with TJ, Ice Cream is the way to go.
