Shower company
It's not what you think.
NSPy has recently shown interest in the shower (since we have been showering frequently from the recent days of hotness). I was showering this morning and he decided to jump up on the edge of the tub, between the shower liner and shower curtain.
Keep in mind that when I don't have my contacts in or glasses on, I can't see well. But I saw this biiiiig dark spot!
He sat there and kind of watched me. Then he walked further down the tub (away from the shower head) but the shower curtain was in the tub so I couldn't see him anymore. I nudged the curtain and felt a big ol' lump of kitty. Then he came back up to the other end of the shower and meowed at me as if to say "what's the fascination with this showery thing anyway?" Then he wandered off. Ok, I thought.
Except! He came back and hopped in the shower with me! Granted it was at the far end of the tub, but still.
After I got out of the shower, he hopped back in to investigate more.
So, warning to you, the unwary person who might stay at our apartment: You might get unexpected company in the shower!

I once had a cat that loved the water. Unreal.
My wife has the problem of our Yellow Lab getting IN the shower. If my wife doesn't either close the Bedroom or Bathroom door, our lab who LOVES water will attempt to get in, and has on a few occasions.
Jason - That would be a bit surprising! I had a complainy cat on the tub again this morning. He stuck his head in and got it wet. And then proceeded to tell me all about it, while remaining on the edge of the tub. Freak!
Benni loves it when I take a bath. She sits on the edge and plays with the tips of my toes. Surprisingly, she'll put her paws into the water- although once she slipped and fell into the tub- it was such a strange thing though as she sort of fell in while at the same time managed to hover midair while trying to hit high ground. I still don't get it- how she managed to not get comepletely wet! Thankfully she's declawed because surely my legs would've been all scratched up! LOL!
The cat came in the shower?! Wow it must be hot there!
I had a cat that liked to sit on the edge of the tub and watch me take a bath. It was quite strange at first... then after several years, when she passed on... I missed her coming in.

William: I had a cat fall in the tub with me. With claws and everything. That slowmotion thing is amazing though!
Keith: Nah, he used to be a stray so we figured that he was familiar with rain, just confused why we would be voluntarily standing in it.
He doesn't seem to mind when he's actually gotten wet though.
