NSPy, the cute
So NSPy has some health issues. We knew he had FIV when we got him and were ok with that. Neither of us wants more than one cat right now and he's happiest on his own (with his people at his beck and call).
First he had conjunctivitis and bronchitis. His lungs didn't clear up though, but his eyes did. More antibiotics and still unclear lungs. We tried steriods to see if it might be asthma and that didn't seem to make much of a difference.
Now we've found out that he has an enlarged heart (and his lungs are still congested). The blood work says he doesn't have heart worms, so he goes in for an EKG next week to see if we can figure out what's going on. They're also going to check his blood pressure too. Poor kitty.

Awwww porrr kitty and what great owners. All that tender loving medicine does not come cheap - Vets are just like people doctors - I know Marley's shoulder consultations nad estimated treatments almost sent me into shock - but ya do what ya gotta do for our furry babes! Good luck to NSPy

My gosh! I'm so sorry to hear this!!! I hope you get this resolved and that it won't be too costly! The things we do for our pets... but it's worth every cent. Please keep us posted!
