Thankfulness
Some of the many things* that I am thankful for having in my life (sorted alphabetically just because):
* If you're skimming, I got a job offer, accepted it and start in mid-December.
Arisia: A great reason for out of town friends to come to Boston.
Boyfriend: James is a very good thing in my life. We make each other laugh often. I could go on and on about him, but I'll just say that I love him and stop at that.
Cat: NSPy is one of the silliest cats I've met in a while. He will sometimes just stare at us, with his head cocked to the side, as if to say "what the hell are you people doing NOW?".
Family: The joy that is no longer living 2,000 miles away from them. I'm really glad that I moved. Family is so important to me. I love that I get to see my brother and crew frequently. I also am happy that I live closer to my parents, so that I get to see them much more often than I did in Colorado.
Friends: I still miss my friends from Colorado and I suck at keeping in touch with them. I am hoping to go visit sometime (no definite plans) and hope they will forgive me for being out of touch. I've also become better friends with a bunch of people who I knew primarily online (or through Arisia) and for this I am also grateful. I'm looking forward to meeting some local bloggers sometime in the near future.
Health: Even with the allergies and asthma, I tend to be a healthy person. I am going to work on the regular exercise part finally.
Internet: My life would be incredibly different without it. I've met so many great people online.
Job: I accepted a job offer today! That was from the interview that I didn't mention, but was why I was wearing a suit on Monday. I was presented with the offer yesterday and accepted it today! I start on 12/11 and I'm really looking forward to this new opportunity. (And it's a M-F 9-5 type gig, so no more working Saturdays and holidays!)
Laughter: I have so many people in my life who contribute and share the laughter that the list would be oh-so-very long.
Roommate: Suzanne and I are well suited to live together. Our apartment/space sharing quirks line up really well. Also, she's introduced me to her friends and he who is now my boyfriend. I've learned how to properly put plastic over the windows so the apartment stays wamer in the winter.

It's Michelle's fault! I say we just get together and stop waiting for her ;-)
ohmygoshcongratulations on the new job. Is it still technical coding super smart type stuff?
