One Terabyte!

| techie stuff | | Comments (2)

What a crazy amount of storage space to have... at home. That always seemed like an impossibly huge number (it still does, but it's mine!).

This is what I got: Western Digital My Book Premium Edition II - 1TB, 7200 RPM Triple Interface (USB 2.0 AND Firewire 400/800) External Hard Drive

Now I just have to get it hooked up. grin

Umm why do I feel giddy when I read the word terabyte???? Do you work off of a Mac or a PC? Some time in the next year or two I am going to get a new computer and I am thinking of changing to a Mac - I just like their culture better and I hate the idea of going to Vista. Did you hear Dell was losing business by saying (like every otehr company) that they were only shipping new PCs with Vista - so they offered to bundle new PCs with XP or VISTA. Smart marketing move on their part.

I'm the same way -- I can't believe that you can have 1 terabyte on your home computer. That seems like an impossibly large amount of storage to have.

PC. My roommate has a Mac laptop and loves it.

I have Vista but am not installing it any time soon.

I've been reading a little about Dell and Vista, etc. Oy!
