Things and stuff

| daily misc | | Comments (0)

Dad and Cathy are in town for the weekend so tonight was "dinner with family". And a tasty dinner it was! Steak tips, orzo and broccilini. Mmmm.

Tomorrow is errandy day: car stuff, hair appt, laundry.

And I have to remember to lend my brother my GPS for his trip next week. I forgot to leave it with him tonight.

Upcoming (not in sequential order): Mother's Day brunch and dinner. Balticon! Lots of driving, a bunch of days off, a different con (different than Arisia), hopefully seeing some B'more local friends. Finishing my character (for the RPG I'm in). Suzanne gets home in just under a week. Jenn gets home in 2 days. Hopefully the kitty will let me sleep in the mornings again. Ever.

Off to read because I have to drop my car off at 8 am. Ew. grin

Update: Funny conversation from dinner. My brother was talking about his new job and named one of the customers he's dealing with. I chimed in with "they're a customer where I work too" and then E said "Yup, and one of ours as well!". My sis-in-law doesn't work for a tech company, but J has a new job and also works for a tech company (but not one that has this particular customer). We were all pretty amused.
