Happy Thanksgiving to those of you who celebrate such things. Happy Thursday to the rest of you. grin

And now a bit of randomness...

I was contacted by Morgan Jindrich about a Consumers Union event coming up in Boston..

Consumers Union recently launched “Twelve Days of Safe Shopping” – an effort to engage and educate concerned shoppers. We have put together a “Get the Lead Out This Holiday Season” safe shopper kit. It included a retailer demands coupon book, information about the effort and stickers to wear.

For information on the campaign go to:

Meet at Park Street T-Station (Corner of Tremont and Park) at 9:45am on Friday 11/23
Local support: Consumers Union, MassPIRG, Clean Water Action
CU support: Morgan (512-809-7771)

I'm not going because I'm anti-crowds on Black Friday, but if you're out, you might want to stop by!
