The week in review

Dad and Cathy were in town this past weekend (hence the questions about places to have brunch). It was great to see them, as usual. smile

Busy. Then sometime on Thursday, my back started to hurt. A lot. I left work early on Thursday to try to get a massage appointment with a friend, but that fell threw. Friday was a loooong day. Last night, the cat, the heating pad and I all curled up and went to bed. I got a decent chunk of sleep and felt a lot better. Today I still feel better, but can still tell that my muscles are not happy with me (the ache radiates from my lower back, around my right hip and down my right leg).

This afternoon, a few of us went to see A Little Night Music at the Vokes Theater. I might have to get the soundtrack to that sometime.

Tomorrow is errands, more errands and then a date. I'm not up to carrying much yet, so I don't know when I'll get to do my laundry. sad And I'll be out of town next weekend. Maybe Friday morning (I took the day off).

I also had rented a movie from Netflix but it won't play in the DVD player.

Oh right. I finally hooked up my external hard drive and moved my music there. My laptop is doing the dance of happy-free-disk-space now. As soon as it finished defragging I'll move the other files off of my desktop machine and power it off. Poor noisy thing.

Anyway, taking my grumpy self to watch whatever's on the Tivo and sit with the heating pad and the cat again.
