My car is NOT invisible, dammit!

We were driving to Westford today for work and the road was full of idiots. One in particular tried to kill us.

He was on a side road to the right of me and decided that it was the perfect time to cross left across my (empty) lane of traffic into the very full/no space for him lane of traffic. Except, well, he didn't look. And I saw there was no space for him and decided not to slow down (he didn't really seem like he was going to do anything)... but then he went.

I had to swerve around him - in front of his truck - and also avoid the full lane of traffic to my left. I managed not to hit anyone. And he didn't hit anyone. But damn, it was really close.

Then a woman in a minivan thought she should try to basically do the same thing, but she stopped before she got into the road.

Assholes. All of them.

Thank goodness I learned good manoeuvring skills along the way.
