Update: moved my blog! (01:52PM)
So I got lazy and moved my blog to Typepad. I figured that I have a lifetime free account there from working for SixApart so what the hell.
My new URL is:
http://blog.beantowngeek.com and the RSS feed is:
http://blog.beantowngeek.com/geek/atom.xmlI'll update this site and RSS feed to redirect there after I let this post hit your RSS readers tomorrow morning.
See you over there! (And hopefully you'll be able to leave comments with less hassle!) [I have to figure out how to Xpost to LJ still.]

Update! (04:09PM)
I feel better today (I got a nasty cold on Thursday and have pretty much sleeping since then).
We went for a walk on the beach today (Revere Beach). It was lovely.
I might be moving my blog somewhere. I'll keep the domain name though, so no worries. I'll post again once I decide.
Happy lovely weather day!

Unpacking! (06:04PM)
I've been busily unpacking since the group who helped move me left yesterday. I got a TON done (see pictures in previous post) and then fell down and went boom. Except that I had "ack! sleeping in a new place!" brain and was restless (and my allergies were happy to tell me that we'd disturbed a bit of dust). Anyway, a couple more nights in my new room and I should be fine.
Today I hung pictures on the wall. I have more to hang, but my shoulders said it was time to stop. I also got all of my bathroom stuff organized.
There's a big pile of stuff to be sorted through in my room and downstairs in the foyer, but that was expected. At least the piles are tidy and the only extra thing still in the living room (besides the empty, flat boxes) is my a/c.
Jenn'll be home tomorrow night so I'll get better pictures on Tuesday.
It'll stop being Lisa's journal of moving soon. Really.

What Kind of Dungeons and Dragons Character Would You Be? (09:51AM)
I took this (or a similar one) ages ago...
Then: Chaotic Good Elf Mage Bard
Now: Neutral Good Human Ranger (6th Level)
Ability Scores:
Strength- 13
Dexterity- 12
Constitution- 12
Intelligence- 13
Wisdom- 16
Charisma- 14
Alignment:
Neutral Good- A neutral good character does the best that a good person can do. He is devoted to helping others. He works with kings and magistrates but does not feel beholden to them. Neutral good is the best alignment you can be because it means doing what is good without bias for or against order. However, neutral good can be a dangerous alignment because it advances mediocrity by limiting the actions of the truly capable.
Race:
Humans are the most adaptable of the common races. Short generations and a penchant for migration and conquest have made them physically diverse as well. Humans are often unorthodox in their dress, sporting unusual hairstyles, fanciful clothes, tattoos, and the like.
Class:
Rangers- Rangers are skilled stalkers and hunters who make their home in the woods. Their martial skill is nearly the equal of the fighter, but they lack the latter's dedication to the craft of fighting. Instead, the ranger focuses his skills and training on a specific enemy a type of creature he bears a vengeful grudge against and hunts above all others. Rangers often accept the role of protector, aiding those who live in or travel through the woods. His skills allow him to move quietly and stick to the shadows, especially in natural settings, and he also has special knowledge of certain types of creatures. Finally, an experienced ranger has such a tie to nature that he can actually draw on natural power to cast divine spells, much as a druid does, and like a druid he is often accompanied by animal companions. A ranger's Wisdom score should be high, as this determines the maximum spell level that he can cast.
